Incorrect Item Value coming while approving Cycle count

We performed Misc Receipt with multiple layer cost and created a cycle count for the involved items, however while approving the cycle count the column adjustment value does not match with the unit cost showing in the classification set as well as review item costs screen. We are unsure how this adjustment value column is getting populated.
