the difference between delete and remove in organization tree node

the difference between delete and remove in organization tree node

I can use remove button to remove the tree node , but when I want to use delete button to remove the tree node , there is an error :

No tree node is deleted. Please click Next to delete the selected node, or click Cancel to exit.

So what the difference betweent these two buttons ?
