Why are the retro elements recurring for every pay period when it shouldn't

We are encountering an issue where an employee has retro elements for the 12/02–12/15 period, specifically OT Built In Straight and Regular Hours. However, these retro elements continue to appear in both the employee’s Statement of Earnings (SOE) and pay slip during subsequent pay periods, consistently netting to $0.00.
Additionally, another set of retro elements dated 12/30–01/04—Holiday Pay and Regular Hours—also persistently appear in the pay results of the succeeding periods, despite being processed.
We have reviewed the employee’s element entries, and the mentioned elements were end-dated appropriately, matching the end date of their respective periods. It's important to note that these retro entries were not manually created; their source is listed as
