How can I restrict the list of attributes while copying an item for item creation?

Summary:

We have a scenario where a user is creating a new item by copying an existing one and selecting the option "Copy Attributes and Then Apply Selected Templates." The user is also selecting all available specifications or attribute groups. This is causing an issue because most of the information from the existing item, such as the source system reference, is being copied to the new system or Item. The user wants to select all specifications but does not want to see specific attribute groups in the same list. How can we restrict the list of attributes in this scenario?
