Seniority Date logic enhancement without running Remove Seniority Dates diagnostic process

Our client wants to make changes to Seniority Date logic. We want to remove "Pending Worker" from employee type. But this requires us to run the diagnostic process Seniority Dates V3 - Remove Seniority Dates Transaction Data in commit mode which is wiping off all the manual adjustments done by HRs and the dates are being recalculated. We can load the adjustments back via HDL but is there a way to update Seniority Date logic skipping the diagnostic process and do an effective dated update to seniority date logic?
