How can we keep the account combinations in HCM in sync with ERP?

In ERP, when the Inherit Segment Value Attributes process is ran, it updates end dates on account combinations in ERP accordingly when individual segments have been updated in ERP. HCM has its own separate table of Account Combinations that is populated when a payroll process is ran, for example. Existing account combinations in HCM do not get their end dates updated whenever an update to a segment is made in ERP.

What are the best practices in making sure the account combinations in HCM are in sync with the account combinations in ERP?

Other than using an HDL, to manually update the start/end date of an account combination in HCM, is there a process similar to the Inherit Segment Value Attributes that is available for account combinations in HCM?
