What's the impact of running this job daily "Update Assignment Status on Date-Driven Activities" ?

Hello,

My client has a problem with courses with activity dates in the past, he had assignments with the status “Not started” instead of “In progress”. To correct this, I scheduled this job “Update Assignment Status on Date-Driven Activities”. This solved the problem but created another problem according to my client, this job prevents the same employee from being assigned to two separate offers of the same course at the same time.


Could you please confirm this? Can this job prevent the same employee from being assigned to two different offers for the same internship at the same time, or is this “prevents the same employee from being assigned to two different offers for the same internship at the same time” behavior is the tool's standard behavior ?
