Restrict "Categories" on Smart Form accoridng to value in DFF field

Hi Oracle community,

I would appreciate some direction on the below please:

We Use Smart Forms. We have one for Goods and one for Services for each BU.

We have one Functional Area Catalog with all procurement categories included in the “Procurement” Functional Area.

These Catalogs are assigned to each Smart Form and a User can pick any Category.

We have recently introduced a DFF field named “Department” which contains a Value Set of Departmental Data.

Is there a way using VBS Business Rules or otherwise to restrict the “Category” chosen on the Smart Form according to the “Department” chosen on the smart form (see screenshot below). EG: if the HR Department is chosen in the DFF only specific "Categories" relevant to HR would be selectable in the "Category" field.
