Ability to Show Dff response in Change assignment Workflow

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to display the response of the DFF in the change assignment approval workflow. Below is the requirement.

We have enabled Change Assignment Redwood Page and our requirement is that while manager is updating the employment record(in our case changing projected end date) we need a custom text box where they can enter a justification of why this change is made.

So currently in VBS on change assignment redwood page we didn't find any option to add a custom text box, so we tried an alternative workaround to create a Dff value called as Comments which might work as a workaround, however our challenge is that - we also have a workflow approval created for this action which includes HR Representatives, Manager Hierarchy, approval roles etc. and our client want's to show the Comments/Justification which is updated in DFF to each approver who is present in approval before approving the request.
