Default seniority date from statutory absence service date

Summary:

In V3 Seniority Dates is it possible to use a formula to use the statutory absence service date where it is different from the enterprise hire date or legal employer hire date? We have a potential requirement to use the statutory absence service date where it's populated to represent the length of service someone has but out of the box I cannot find a way to do this since it seems according to the guides, that it is not an input value.

Has anyone managed to achieve this without manually putting the seniority date or days in on the Seniority Dates page?
