Customization of the Connections Panel – Addition of Free Text Boxes in “About Me” or Other Panels

Summary:

We are planning to create a new panel in the Connections menu that will include free-text boxes. These boxes will let employees write about their personal commitments and how they prefer to receive feedback and recognition. The idea is for these boxes to work like the ones in the About Me section—employees can fill them out, and others will be able to see the information through Connections search.

As far as we know, it's not possible to add new sections under About Me. We're also not using the Anytime Feedback panel right now, so we could consider reusing that space for the new text fields if needed.
