Terminated Employee Roles Not Removed Despite Immediate Access Revoke Setting

Dear Team,

We encountered an issue during the termination process of an employee in Oracle HCM Cloud. Despite selecting 'Immediately' for the Access Revoke field, the user roles were not removed after the termination was submitted.

Details:

  • Termination Notification Date: 2025/05/15
  • Termination Effective date - 2025/08/15
  • Access Revoke Option Selected: Immediately
  • Expected Behavior: User roles should be revoked immediately upon submission of the termination.
  • Actual Behavior: User roles are still active post-termination.
  • Business Impact: This poses a security risk as terminated employees retain system access despite access revoke instructions.

Steps Taken:

  1. Terminated employee using Termination tab.
  2. Set Access Revoke to Immediately.
  3. Submitted the transaction.
