Item Change orders stuck because of terminated / inactive employees

Summary:

We have Multiple item Change orders stuck because of terminated / inactive employees. Will this ESS - "Run Reassign Pending Approvals for Terminations and Correct Invalid Supervisor Assignments Process" - assign the approval notification to the manager of the inactive user for all the stuck change orders?

Or is there any other ESS process that we can trigger to assign the approval notification to manager of inactive users Or, remove the inactive approvers from the approval list of the stuck item changes orders.
