How to Set a Minimum Value Threshold of Zero in Predictive Planning Forecasts?
Summary:
Hi everyone,
In Oracle Predictive Planning, I’ve encountered an issue where the forecasted values for certain clients predict a decline that results in negative values. While this behavior is not consistent across all clients, some specific entities show a downward trend that dips below zero.
I would like to know: Is there a way to enforce a minimum threshold for the prediction output so that even in cases of decline, the forecasted value does not go below zero. Ideally, I'd like to reflect the decline but still cap the prediction at zero to avoid illogical negative values.
Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
