Unable to create item in redwood page

Summary:

When I navigate to Product Information Management > Product Management Experience section > Search Product Management > New Commercial Items.

I was redirected back to original create item UI. After entering the item class and template and click OK on create item pop-up window, the page got refreshed and redirected me back to Product Management Redwood UI and no new item was created.

Is item creation supported in redwood now? Or any setup/role assigned missing?
