Secure Candidate by Grade Level

I would like to check if anyone has tried to secure candidates by grade level.

I created the Candidate Security Profiles to limit recruiters to specific grade candidates. However, during testing, it appears that the grade level refers to employee grade levels rather than the job requisition grade levels. This results in recruiters only returning existing employees as candidates in the Candidate Search, instead of showing those apply to specific grade job requisitions' candidate.

Has anyone used the secure candidate feature by grade level before? If so, could you please share how it works?
