Waitlisted learner withdraws from offering

Summary:

What happens as per Oracle workflow when a learner at a waitlisted status withdraws themselves using self-service? What is the assignment status moved to? Deleted or Withdrawn?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

• Learner A enroll to Course C and to Offering O

• There were no more seat so it goes as Waitlist status

• Now learner would like to withdrawn and select Withdraw enrollment

Status in now Deleted both at Offering level and Course level. Now, why the status is Deleted and not Withdrawn? is it by Oracle a standard behavior or can be guided by us?
