"Not Managed by HR' access

Summary:

I understand the use-case of "Not Managed by HR" person type, and we intend to use it for the same reason, to store basic demographic information and assignment for reporting, along with giving them the ability to take up a few mandatory courses.

Which Role shall I use? Does this need a custom role? What if an employee role/contingent worker role is assigned to this person type?
