RSSP: Inconsistent Item Search Behavior in Enter Requisition Line

In the classic SSP, it was possible to search using just the first three characters.
(For example, entering “PEL” would bring up items such as "PELICAN HOLDINGS GROUP".)

However, in RSSP, items do not appear in the LOV unless we enter either “PELIC%” or the full string like “PELICA”.
Here are some examples:

• “PEL”: Unrelated items are returned
• “PEL%”: No LOV is displayed
• “PELI%”: No LOV is displayed
• “PELIC”: No LOV is displayed
• “PELIC%”: Matching item is found
• “PELICA”: Matching item is found

Additionally, we noticed that the number of characters required to trigger the LOV varies depending on the search term.
