Notification date restriction in Redwood Termination V3

In current Termination V2, an employee can select the notification date in the past when resigning from employment.

In Redwood Termination V3, the employee can only select from current date.

Is it possible to enable date selection in past for the resignation notification date in Redwood Termination V3?
