We have a scenario where a master item is temporarily not available but instead of bringing the master item down from RSSP, business wants to show the item but hide the "Add to Cart" button.

In PIM module, we are maintaining the specifications such as "Transfer Orders Enabled" = Yes, "Purchasable" = No etc. If we change the "Transfer Orders Enabled" = No then the item vanishes from SSP.

Business wants requesters to continue to see the item but restrict them from adding the item to the Cart. Business will update the description of the item with some indication of the alternate item code to use and when the stock is likely to be back available.
