Differences between Clonning and migration in FCCS

I would like to understand the key differences between cloning an application and migration in Oracle FCCS.

  1. When should each method be used?
  2. What components are included or excluded in cloning vs migration?
  3. Are there any limitations or best practices associated with either approach?

For example:
• If I want to create a copy of an FCCS application within the same environment or for development/testing purposes, is cloning the right choice?
• On the other hand, if I want to move an application from one environment (e.g., Dev to Prod), should I use migration via snapshots?

Any clarity on how metadata, data, security, ownership and artifacts are handled in both methods would be really helpful.

Howdy, Stranger!
