FTE and salary doubling on union query

Hi All

I have got a union report that is returning a number of records with double FTE and salary.

One report is with recurring pay elements and one without. Both work fine until union where for some records the FTE and salaries double.

The union is necessary as OTBI can only return recurring elements as a filter - it can't return people without recurring elements in one report: this would be the ideal solution!
