Is it possible to store/obtain person images in different sizes to be used for different purposes?

Summary:

Our client is transitioning from PeopleSoft to Cloud and in PeopleSoft it's possible to store different sizes of the same image to use it for different purposes (card and others).

Is anyone aware if this is possible, and if yes, how can it be achived?
