Employees' work phone number

Hi,

One of my clients has their employees' work phone numbers the same as the phone number of their work location that is attached to employees' assignment. Is there a way to default location phone number on the employee record out of the box? They would want it to be automated/automatically synch'ed from employees' location and not to have to add the work phone number manually.
