Currently, when a learner requests a learning item, the system assigns it immediately without giving the learner the option to choose a future start date.

This limitation reduces flexibility and planning capabilities for learners, especially in cases where the training should start at a specific time (e.g., after completing a prior task, during a low workload period, etc.).

We are proposing the introduction of a new feature that allows learners to set a future start date at the time of request. This would allow for better alignment with individual schedules and improve adoption and satisfaction with learning programs.
