Replacement Item - Outgoing Goods are replaced with different Incoming Goods

Summary:

We have an ask from our business team on how to replace one individual item into 4 different items and vice versa.

1. Purchase 1 individual item (A – 200 meters), then send them to the supplier for service, and later receive them back as a 4 items (B: 50 meters, C: 50 meters, D: 50 meters and E: 50 meters) via a purchase order.
2. Purchase 4 individual items(B: 50 meters, C: 50 meters, D: 50 meters and E: 50 meters), then send them to the supplier for service (assemble), and later receive them back as a single item (A – 200 meters) via a purchase order.

can someone confirm if it's possible and how to achieve it. what kind of configuration/setups needs to be changed for the same.
