Oracle Common Lookups for Localization Category

In Me>Personal Details>Disability Info the localization category dropdown for countries we would like to edit the option that show in the dropdown. Upon reviewing the common lookups, we found out that some of it are Oracle delivered and cannot be edited. We would like to know if it is possible to update or override Oracle delivered Common lookups?
