When creating an item from another, the sales account is not replicated by organization

The customer creates items from another existing product. We've identified that when using this feature, the system doesn't inherit the sales account for the reference item's inventory organization. It assigns the account assigned in the master organization and replicates it across all organizations. How could we address this finding?
