SYMPTOMS

Below messages noticed in /var/log/messages:

2025-05-20T06:20:47.982038-04:00 <HOSTNAME> systemd[1]:info: Removed slice User Slice of UID 0.
2025-05-20T06:20:58.398123-04:00 <HOSTNAME> systemd[1]:err: Failed to start Session c1 of user grid.
2025-05-20T06:21:26.685109-04:00 <HOSTNAME> systemd[1]:info: Created slice User Slice of UID 0.

Later we see that the session for the grid user is successful .

2025-05-21T05:58:54.681973-04:00 <HOSTNAME> su[260063]:notice: (to grid) root on none
