Redwood - Business Rule to default standard working hours on Request new positions is overridden

Summary:

Business Rule to default standard working hours on Request new positions is overridden

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hello,

We set up a business rule in VB studio on the Request New Position form to have the Standard Working Hours and Frequency defaulted based on the Business Unit name. For example, if Business Unit name is X, return 40 as standard working hours weekly if BU name is Y, return 38 standard working hours weekly.

The rule works, meaning that when you select BU name the standard working hours get defaulted correctly.

However, once you start populating the other fields like job, department or location, the standard working hours field default value resulted from the rule is removed (we do not keep standard working hours on any other work structure except for Legal Entity).

Howdy, Stranger!
