Need to have place holder to extract the last transaction date for item onhand from legacy system

Summary:

I need to to have place holder for the last trasaction date on the item onhand. We are migrating the onhand from legacy system to oracle cloud and we need to have the last transaction date for that onhand to derive excess and obsolescence reporting for the onhand not used for some duration.

Appreciate any inputs on how can we enable the placeholder for Item onhand.
