On RSSP can we Enable the Requested Delivery Date as Blank field instead of default from Profile

Summary:

In RSSP, the Requested Delivery Date is derived from one of the Profile and default value is 7. Business Requirement is to leave the field as blank and allow Requestor/Buyer to populate the date instead of derived as default value from lookup. Please suggest if this is feasible
