Is there a way to include timestamp in the Footer section in Books?

We tried using the following syntax in the Footer section in Books for the page numbers and timestamp:

Page &[Page] of &[Pages]
Co Confidential
Printed on:
DateTime("d-MMM-yy", none)  DateTime("h:mm:ss a z", none)

However, in the PDF view, the timestamp appears exactly as the syntax (see picture below), instead of showing the actual date and time:

The same syntax for the timestamp works in an individual Report (see picture below):

Is there a different syntax to be used for the timestamp in Books? Thanks.
