Missing Employees in Hiring Manager/Recruiter LOV

We’ve noticed that some employees are no longer appearing in the List of Values (LOV) for Hiring Manager and Recruiter fields during requisition creation. It was working fine till yesterday. Cannot search for these employees in employment info also.
We are having this issue in production, any suggestions to fix the issue?
