Our business wants the SYD depreciation method to calculate monthly depreciation for the 12 months from date acquisition. Currently the prorate convention is Mid Month and the life of the asset is 10 years. Date of acquisition is Apr 1st 2025. So the fraction for the first year is 10/55. They want the system to calculate the same monthly depreciation amount from Apr-25 to Mar-26. Then they want the system to start new depreciation amount (fraction 9/55) from Apr-26 and so on. At the minute, any combination of prorate convention, DPIS results in the system calculating the amount (10/55) from
