Description (Required):

When creating an event rule I want to be able to exclude certain resources from triggering the event.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

E.g. I want to create an event rule that will trigger if a database backup has failed, excluding certain databases that are normally powered off but I still want automatic backups to be enabled for when they are powered on. Currently I have had to make a tag with either Y or N and apply to all databases. If Y the event will be triggered. It would be better if we could just exclude the databases we don't want to trigger the event, rather than have to remember to apply this tag to every single database manually.
