Pre-screening questions default character limit

Hi All,

One of our customers has raised a query with us regarding the character limit for internal and external candidates.

What they've noticed is that the same job posting and questions included on the application have different characters limits, 2000 for external candidates and 10000 for internal.

I know the default is set at 2000 if a maximum value isn't entered on the question which is why external candidates can only enter this amount and updating a question to allow 10000 is reflected externally but why do internal candidates get 10000 as default when it's using the same question?
