How to convert a pending worker (Employer B) when primary work rel. (Empl A) has future termination?

edited Aug 13, 2025 1:29AM in Human Capital Management

Summary:

How do I convert a pending worker (second work relationship) when primary work relationship has termination date in the future?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have a business cases, where a worker has a future dated termination for legal employer A (since it's a temporary contract), but should start an additional work relationship with legal employer B BEFORE the termination date in company A? We can create the additional Pending Worker Assignment, however when trying to convert, we receive an error message, that the start date with Company B needs to be AFTER the future dated transaction in company A. That logically doesn't make sense to me. Any suggestions on how we can do this without "un-terminating" and "re-terminating"?

Howdy, Stranger!
