Learning Activity status

Summary:

Can we create additional statuses for Activity? Currently, we have 3 statuses: Not Passed, Completed and Exempted. When we select the activity status as Exempted, the completion status automatically changes to Completed. Is this the expected behaviour?

I was not able to find the lookup for activity completion status, although I did find the lookup for Activity Reasons.

Also, where can we find the mapping or connection between Activity status and Activity Reason?
