Selectors moving depending on role of user

Summary:

We have created some process guides for managers on the use of document records. The guides navigate via My Team - Show More - Document Records. It works perfectly when the user only has the manager role attached. However when the user also has an HR specialist role attached there are additional actions that appear under the Employment section in My Team so the process step is no longer appearing against the Document Records action. How do I ensure that the selector picks up the Document Records action wherever it sits on the page? I'd highlighted that action to choose
