Enable DFF Values in Resource Breakdown Structure for Budgeting and Control

Summary:

Currently, Oracle Fusion does not allow the use of descriptive flexfield (DFF) values in the Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS) for budgeting or budgetary control purposes. We propose enabling DFF values (e.g., Year) within the RBS so users can capture additional attributes and use them in budgeting and control.

For example, if we define a DFF segment called Year, we should be able to:

Enter budgets for specific years (e.g., 2024, 2025) within the RBS.

Enable budgetary control based on combinations like Resource → Year.

It might also open doors for use cases involving project phases, or custom time slices if extended well

Howdy, Stranger!
