Manager Section Edit Button Not Functioning as Expected in Convert & Edit Pending Worker Redwood UI

Summary:

We are able to edit manager details in the Manager section on the Convert and Edit Pending Worker Redwood pages for proposed person types: Employee and Contingent Worker. However, in the Responsive UI, we cannot edit manager details for proposed person type Employee because the edit button (pencil icon) is not available. For proposed person type Contingent Worker, the edit option is present.

When updating an employee’s position on their assignment, the line manager is automatically synchronized based on the position hierarchy, which is why the edit button is not visible in this case. for contingent workers, since their position is not updated on assignment and the line manager is not automatically synchronized, the edit button remains available.
