Delay in Line Managers seeing new direct reports until Compute Users ACL has been run
We are noticing with Redwood pages for Line Managers that where the page uses Oracle Search Workers LOV that there is a delay in Line Managers being able to access their staff.
This is most noticeable with new hires or new additional assignments where we allocate journey tasks to the line manager to complete. The journey task is assigned and the manager follows the task application links (to Document Record or Employment Info) but cannot see the new employee. The line manager access is valid as they can see them in My Team Activity centre as a direct report.
The issue is resolved after running Compute Users ACL but this cannot be run all the time and even if we are running this every 15 minutes for logged on users, there is no guarantee that the line manager is actually logged in.
