Need Help: BI Publisher Report with Summary from Two Data Groups (Previous and Current)

Hi all,

We have a requirement to build a summary report that compares data from the previous and current months. The expected output format is:

In our HCM Extract, we have created two data groups (DGs):

• One for current month data
• One for previous month data

We need to group and merge both DGs in the RTF or E-Text template to show the amount for each element side by side (previous vs. current), grouped under their respective classification.

We tried using a union of the DGs, but that approach is not working as expected in the RTF template.

Has anyone implemented a similar report or can guide us on how to achieve this? Any help or example would be appreciated.
