Inconsistent Auto-Selection of Language-Specific Offerings in Specializations

Description:

We’ve encountered an inconsistency with the auto-selection of language-specific course offerings within a specialization in Oracle Learn.

Setup:

  • We have a multi-lingual course with multiple offerings, each tagged with a specific language (matching the SCORM package).
  • The course is added to a specialization, and employees are enrolled at the specialization level.
  • The learner’s preferred language is set in HCM.

Expected Behavior: When a learner accesses the specialization, the system should automatically select the offering that matches their preferred language.

Issue: This functionality worked correctly in Q2. However, in Q3, we’re seeing inconsistent behavior:

  • For English and Spanish, the correct offering is auto-selected.
