Security Profile Not Working for Custom IT Security Manager Role

We have created a custom role based on the IT Security Manager seeded role. However, the security profile is not taking effect as expected when assigned to users with this custom role.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

  • The custom role has been provisioned with appropriate data role and security profile mappings (e.g., Person Security Profile, Organization, Position).
  • When using the custom role, users are unable to access the secured data, indicating that the security profile is not being enforced.
  • We have already run the Regenerate Grants process after assigning the data role.
