Item Rule and AI Agent to update Item attribute

Summary:

We have to implement a complex logic to update Create Supply attribute on Items based on change in Item Status ,value of one DFF and Relationship available for that Item.

Based on Oracle document, I understand, DFF and Relationships (if item has substitute relationship) cant be used for assignment rule So we are exploring tother possibility to update the value of Create Supply in real time.

Is there a possibility that Rules or AI agent or OIC event can work for this logic?
