Best Practice for Defining Project Schedules with Specific Holiday Exceptions in Oracle Fusion
Summary:
Hi all,
In the context of Oracle Fusion Project Execution Management, we define elapsed -shifts, workday patterns, and schedule exceptions (like public holidays) as part of the project schedule configuration.
Given that schedule exceptions such as public holidays can vary across different business units—for example, different countries or business units follow different holiday calendars—I wanted to ask:
Is it considered a best practice to define separate project schedules for each Business unit to accommodate their specific holiday calendars? Or is there any other recommended approach to manage BU-specific exceptions efficiently without creating multiple project schedules?
Would appreciate any insights or experiences from the community. Thank you!
