In approval workflow, how to skip the second level approver in case of a specific person

The Manager hierarchy approval workflow is like it goes to 1st level manager, 2nd level manager and then CEO. The requirement is to skip the second level manager if he is XYZ person. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?
